THELMA RAMIREZ, Ed.M.
Research Manager, EASEL Lab at Harvard Graduate School of Education
Thelma Ramirez is a Research Manager at the Ecological Approaches to Social and Emotional Learning (EASEL) Lab at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Thelma’s interests include elevating caregiving in early care, education, and home visiting; integrating family voices and experiences into social and emotional learning; and using participatory action research methods to honor community knowledge in research interventions. Through her work, Thelma seeks to strengthen relational connections that foster inclusive and safe spaces, empowering the voices of children and families from all backgrounds. Prior to her role at Harvard, Thelma oversaw home-visiting programs supporting families with young children. She currently provides training to early care and education professionals as a certified Infant Family Specialist (II) and a Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework trainer. Thelma holds an A.B. in Sociology from Princeton University and an Ed.M in Prevention Science and Practice from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
